Selling my 1969 Triumph TR6 Roadste r:
Asking $9995 for it, I already have $20,000 invested in it and am willing to take the loss. Beautiful red over black 1969 TR6. Excellent running and driving car that has benefited from excellent care and maintenance throughout it"s life. Paint and vinyl top replaced within 5 years, this British Roadster mechanically sounds and starts right up. Idles smoothly, and does not leak any fluids. The carbs are tuned properly to spec and the engine pulls exceptionally strong. No rust, no vibration at 80 mph, very sound frame. Tires have less than 5000 miles on them. A true iconic British sports car! FIRST year of production proceeding the TR250. Hard to find "high back seats". 95% all original car.
Straight six, 4 speed manual transmission. Runs and shifts like a dream! Cherry Red paint job to match the original (done within the last few years) with black leather interior, interior is in great condition. Runs excellent. Exact mileage unknown. (odo says 33400) No leaks. No smoke. Transmission is tight, clutch is good. Convertible top is like new (was replaced when the car was painted) Duel exhaust. Car has been recently serviced by a master mechanic here in San Clemente, CA.
I am selling this car because I have no room to store it, and already own two other vehicles. This is a classic sports car that turns heads everywhere I go. It"s a total blast to drive. Very fast, and handles great. I am sad to see it go, as I owned the same vehicle right out of high school, and use to cruise it with my sweetheart, who is now my wife of over 30 years! I pray that it goes to someone that will appreciate it as I do. Mechanically, the car is sound. Has very light wear overall. Tires are in good to great condition. Registered and ready to drive home. Classic ride, all the way. . just needs a new home! Comes with custom California plates: MY69TR6
