I was in the process of restoring this beast of an off-road vehicle that has been a dream of mine since I was a teen. My plan was to take my time, and eventually ship down to Costa Rica (CR), where I plan to move sometime in the future. Unfortunately, CR just changed their import laws so no vehicle older than 12 years may be imported as of 1/1/2018! So, as much as I want to keep it, I need to sell it—soon! Make me an offer. There are minor chips / imperfections in the paint and body. Minor paint bubbles/dings were sanded, prepped, and primed with POR-15. I was going to get it painted once I imported it (since it"s cheaper down there), so it"s ready for your favorite vintage paint color. Most of the hard work is done already in the restoration with engine swap, drivetrain, electrical; mostly cosmetic at this point. Minimal rust on doors, body/tub when I purchased in 2016: repaired it with POR-15 rust prevention until it could be repainted. Hardtop sides in good condition, minor rust in couple corners grinded/sanded and repaired with POR; Hardtop fiberglass rebuilt/restored with brand new CCoT rain gutter (waiting for paint job). THE ABOVE DESCRIBED TOYOTA FJ40 IS BEING SOLD "AS IS" AND "WHERE IS". THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES WHATSOEVER. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER/BIDDER TO ASCERTAIN THE FIT, FINISH, AND OVERALL QUALITY BEFORE THE AUCTION ENDS. I AM AVAILABLE AT 443-679-3976 FOR INSPECTION APPOINTMENTS AND TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS NOT ADDRESSED IN THE AD (please leave a message). MY EMAIL IS tomhrrtl@gmail.com NOT interested in trade or parting out. NOT interested in dealing with broker/dealership. SERIOUS OFFERS ONLY- SCAMMERS BEWARE
