Vehicle description
Up for sale is my PROJECT FJ40 Land Cruiser. This FJ was found sitting on a farm up in Modesto, CA where it spent most of its life. It was used as a maintenance vehicle hence the condition it is currently in. Subsequent work was started-new gas tank, rebuilt Aisan carb and a new Carter electric fuel pump was installed. Engine is from a later model FJ as the block reads "378581".
Pros:
Starts up on first try every time
Frame rails are free of rot/cancer
New gas tank
New electric fuel pump
Tub has not rot/cancer-just a lot of wear and surface rust
Starts, drives and stops
Extra set of fenders included
Cons(needs a lot but I will try to list some of the bigger things):
Body might need some hammering out/alignment
Windshield frame needs repair(weldnut)
Windshield and door hinges need to be rebuilt or replaces
Needs gas struts for rear hatch
Missing passenger/rear jump seats
Missing spare tire carrier
Mismatched tires/wheels
Some gauges do not work
Doors will need some work as well
