The Daytona Spyder replica gained it"s fame when it appeared in the Hottest Cop Show of 80"s " Miami Vice " driven by Don Johnson aka Sonny Crockett.
Fer@ri executives were not pleased that one of their products was being represented on TV by a replica, so the Daytona was eventually destroyed on-screen and replaced with an Original Testarossa (newest model at the time).
Up for auction is a Tom Mcburnie Daytona Spyder UNFINISHED PROJECT with over $35k invested.
I purchased the Dash, Gauges & Center Console from the “ORIGINAL" MIAMI VICE Daytona Spyder displayed at Volocars Museum, these interior parts were installed after Miami Vice and used in the movie Speed Zone.

This New Tom Mcburnie Body Kit is mounted on a COMPLETELY blasted & powder coated C3 Corvette chassis and powered by an Upgraded C4 Corvette LT1 engine (400hp) and a 6 spd manual transmission.
New & Rebuilt Parts installed:
brake system, steering, fuel lines, suspension, etc. All Fer@ri lights, lenses, emblems & grill are included along with a C3 Corvette convertible top frame and a complete C4 Corvette exhaust system.
This Daytona is sitting on a set of ORIGINAL Vintage Zenith Knock Off Wire Wheels as used on the Miami Vice Daytona Spyder along with New Pirelli Tires
