About this vehicle This 1969 Pontiac Firebird is an original. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller"s Notes We have been selling special interest cars for decades - come see some cool cars! Vehicle Details This 1969 Pontiac Firebird is looking for a new home! The current owner’s parents owned it prior, dating back to 10/2015, and the current owner has owned it for one year but hasn’t put a mile on it since. Time to find a home that she’ll get some exercise and beauty pageants ❤️ The car is a recent (within 10 years or less) full restoration, and it’s not showing a whole lot of wear considering. The previous owner bought it after his wife passed away, because she always wanted one. Then he passed after only putting a few thousand miles on it over 5 years. The engine is a crate SBC small block that runs very well. Mileage is unknown on the rebuild - it’s a very fresh motor and runs like new. The body and paint was done well, a notch or two above Macao/tech school/mid grade shops, but not concours by any means. A “five footer” as I like to call them. Very nice if you don’t get up in the details - cracking paint around some of the window edge trim, body edges and corners, but honestly an 8-9/10 on a driver quality rating. The hood was replaced with a blue hood from another car (unknown why), and they wrapped it in dry carbon vinyl wrap, with red pinstripes. Sets the car off nicely, and isn’t the same look as every other you’ve seen. Window gaskets and seals need attention. They were replaced with the restoration but some have fallen out or shrunk. Let’s just say the car wash was…. interesting 😮 The car has plenty of power. We tested the….power to rubber mess ratio, and it scored off the charts. A light brake stand is all you need to create a smoke screen. The proportions are far better than you’d expect - I was always under the impression these were big and long and wide. This car is small! I mean it’s not a Honda small but it’s - well it’s not big. The interior was done with the restoration and this is the cars high point. Everything is new. Dash, gauges, door panels, seats, headliner, you name it. The carpet is also new. There’s a Hurst shifter installed that really does make an automatic less terrible. This one shifts smoothly and crisply. We have access to a lift and will be happy to get any information or pictures to prospective buyers. This vehicle is going up with NO RESERVE - we are selling to the high bidder! Our client wants to make peace with this lasting reminder and move on from this chapter.
