1969 MGC GT with factory installed Overdrive transmission This Restored rare MGC GT is absolutely stunning in every way. With only 9002 total made, only 4458 were GTs, and only 1773 were imported to North America so it"s obviously an extremely rare MG. The paint of this 1969 MGC GT is Tartan Red which was the original color. This interior is black leather with Red piping, all new matching black panels with red piping and black carpet throughout. Original in-line 6 cylinder engine(with rebuilt head, all external engine seals and gaskets have been replaces when engine was removed and detailed before installing back in detailed engine compartment) and original overdrive transmission has been rebuilt. New Pertronix electronic distributor, new Cobalt plug wires and new NGK plugs. Heater box rebuild. New 3 piece clutch, new clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder and new clutch hose. New rubber brake lines(front and rear), new master cylinder, upgraded to later style MGB brake system(also rebuilt, and detailed), new alternator, DOT 5 bake and clutch fluids(DOT 5 has a higher boiling point, better performance and won"t harm the paint). Restored, "detailed", and refreshed original 3.7 rear end, with all new gaskets, seals, brake shoes and rear wheel cylinders. New hand brake cable also installed. New front shocks. New steering rack with new balljoints. New front disks with new front rotors. New polyurethane sway bar bushings. New rear springs with polyurethane spring pad bushings and rear spring mount polyurethane bushings. New chrome throughout, new rubber, new rubber seals(including headlight body gaskets, door seals, rear quarter window seals, front and rear window seals, engine compartment seal, rear hatch seals). New GT hatch lift covers and buttons, new hatch "MGC MG GT" emblem, new grille, new bumpers and bumperettes front and rear, new oil cooler and oil cooler lines, new radiator with polished brass top tank and polished brass overflow bottle. All new radiator/heater hoses, and fuel line hoses. New windshield(with new windshield seal and filler strip, as well as rear hatch window seal and filler strip), new wiper arms/blades. All electrics work as they should. 5 new - 15" tubeless chrome wire wheels with brand new tires(all matching), all new 2 eared, chrome knock offs for wire wheels. Electric fuel pump. New fuel sending unit in cleaned gas tank. Original exhaust manifold cleaned and mated up to full stainless steel down pipes and full stainless steel exhaust all the way back. All new rubber mountings for exhaust. New turn signal switch and new wiper switch. New rear tail light assemblies, and new reverse lights. New battery. New 3 piece door lock set(both doors and hatch have all matching keys). Many, many more parts added during this restoration, a detailed list is available. There is no warranty on this MGC, buy assumes all responsibilities, buy is also responsible for shipping, a bill of sale will be signed before title will be released over to buyer once all funds have been cleared.
