Vehicle description
1969 mgb gt unrestored, car is far from perfect, but is my weekend cruiser, and is a blast to drive! I WILL ONLY POST ONCE. I don’t have any problem keeping and storing it over the winter.
Things I’ve done, is I’ve lowered it with Miata lowering springs( they have about the same spring rate so it doesn’t ride too bad.) I have the stock springs as well. Bride racing seats with harness, nardi steering wheel. 15x8 enkei 92 wheels with brand new tires (less than 3k miles)
When I got it, I cleaned the carbs and put intake filters on them. Pacesetter header with full straight pipe exhaust. (Have stock) brand new redline fuel pump. And alternator. there was receipts from 2014 of a new clutch. And other miscellaneous work done. The biggest flaws it has is the syncros are going out, so shifting at high rpms and down shifting it grinds. It burns oil, but I’ve read that it’s a common problem on the earlier models. When I got it there was a touchscreen radio and system. Something is draining the battery if you don’t drive it for a few days I made a disconnect for it. Clean title in my name. There are a couple rust spots under the paint nothing major. Any questions just ask!
