Powered by the optional 160 horsepower Dauntless V6 which was the preferred power plant with its 235 lb·ft of torque. This Commander is 4 wheel drive making this rare Jeep very sought after. The very straight body and nice paint shows this Jeep very well. The V6 runs great and the automatic transmission shifts very well. The chrome glass and trim are all very nice. We purchased this Jeep . . in Southern California for our private collection. This would make an excellent choice for anyone looking for an investment quality Commando. A throwback to the original Willys Jeepster Jeepster C101 as the first Commando was called was produced from 1966 to 1971 and came in several different body styles including the station wagon convertible pickup and roadster. Equipped with the F-Head Hurricane Straight-4 the C101 also came with a 160hp Dauntless V6.
