Up for auction is a 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 with Marti report (see picture). This car belonged to a family member that was having it restored until his passing. He owned many Mustangs and the restorations usually took years. This car has had the engine rebuilt and body work/paint completed over the course of many years. I was told the transmission was rebuilt but can" t confirm as the case is dirty. The car had floor pan issues and was the next thing to be completed (not sure why he waited to do the floors so late in the process). He had the engine rebuilt by a local shop and the car was only driven a couple of times before they started the restoration process. When I got the car to my repair shop, I installed a rebuilt Holly 750 cfm carburetor (had one in stock) and new fuel pump. Using a gas can as a fuel source the engine fired up and sounds good. As you can see in the pictures the floor pan needs replaced and a new floor pan with seat risers is included in the sale. While the floor pans are rusty, the frame appears to be remarkably solid. The front high back bucket seats, rear bench seat, plastic interior trim (see pictures), door skins and fastback glass/door glass are all included in the auction. Marti report is included!
