Vehicle description
This vehicle hasn"t been on the road in the past 10 years. It"s a great candidate for restoration. 1969 Mustangs like this are getting harder and harder to find. Restored, these Mustangs command about $50,000. My father in law, recently had COVID and has long term health issues from it. Prompting him to sell it, since he has a blood clot and minor stroke that doesn"t allow him to see very well anymore and sadly hinders his ability to drive well. His daughter and son in law (me) do not have the time for a full on restoration since we have a little boy running around now taking all of our time all day, everyday.
I have videos of the engine starting, it starts really well. Let me know what you"d like to know about it, and I"ll let you know.
The transmission does slip because it leaks the fluid out of it. It can be driven and has a full tank of 89 octane fuel I just got about a week ago.
Again, it can be driven, but since it hasn"t been on the road in the past 10 years (except to get a full tank of fuel about a week ago) should be towed because as they age, reliability gets less and less and rubber components like radiator hoses get weak with time.
