Vehicle description
This is my 1969 boss 302 that im selling. I bought this car 2 years ago with the intention of restoring it but things happen and i cant at this time so im offering up for sale. This car was originally from Texas, but i bought it from a gentleman out of Tennessee who had it in storage for years. The car has minimal rust as you can see which is the main reason i bought it. It has the dash vin tag, and the vin is stamped on the top of both shock towers, i do have the door tag but i dont have the buck tag. I gathered some parts along the way, this car right now has an 8inch rear in it. It has the original tach dash and pedals still on the car. The doors, trunk lid, hood, and fenders are not original to the car but are all ford. It has a clear and open title in the name of the guy i bought it off of. i just never got around to putting it in my name. This is a very solid 1969 Boss 302, they only made 1628 in 69 so very rare compared to the 70"s. This car was original Acapulco blue, my favorite color, with black deluxe interior. The car was in an accident at one time, but i had the car put on a frame machine at a professional autobody shop, and 1125.00 later its straight and true and at that time they replaced the battery apron, inner apron, and radiator support.
MOTOR AND DRIVE LINE : IF YOU DONT WANT THE THE DRIVE LINE THATS PICTURED I WILL TAKE 8,000 OF THE FINAL BID. That consist of everything on the black carpet, everything on the engine stand, rear end, and 4 speed transmission.
Motor: standard bore block, standard crank, and heads, had all these magnafluxed and pressure tested and 425.00 later everything is in excellent condition, this is a 1969 boss motor with matching heads all date coded around march of 69, THIS IS NOT THE ORIGINAL MOTOR, it has the intake, timing cover, oil pan with pick up and baffle, also the balancer, pulleys, fan blade, nos carb spacer, and everything else you see on the carpet.
Tranny: THIS NOT THE ORIGINAL TRANNY, but it is the correct 1969 RUG E3 tranny that should have came in this boss, it has the aluminum bellhousing and boss flywheel, along with the transmission crossmember.
Rear End: THIS IS NOT THE ORIGINAL REAREND, this was taken out of a 1969 R code mustang, that was in a field, so some rust but it is an n casing 31 spline rear with 3.50 gears open the boss should have 3:91 gears i was just going to rebuild it with the 3:89 posi gears
MISCELLANEOUS PARTS: you can see in the picture a box of parts in the backround next to the fastback door glass, seatbelts, visors, some plastic pieces for the dash, and some other small stuff.
I DO HAVE THE SPACE SAVER TIRE JUST NOT PICTURED
If i find anything else for the car i will put it in the car, but that is basically it.
