Vehicle description
Buick"s version of the Vista Cruiser. Older restoration. Could use another one, but still looks really good! Victory red paintjob still shines like a mirror and looks deep as an olympic swimming pool full of red wine. Powered by a 1967 buick 430 engine that is .030 over, and has all the oiling mods done. It is a mild built big block meant for torque to move the big wagon around. The car runs and drives nicely, has a few easily fixed issues like leaky exhaust manifolds and the factory AC needs a new POA valve in order to function. Other than the engine and the front power disc brakes, the car is all original. The interior is complete but does need headliner and front seat repair. The horn does not work but everything else does including the power rear window. That said, the car still turns heads and I was planning on continuing restoration (and will continue to do so if it doesnt sell.) Reason for selling is that i really dont have anywhere to store it. .its too big. My new house has no garage, and I can no longer afford to rent storage for it. This by no means implies that I will sell it for peanuts. I will accept a fair price. If high bidder is near my reserve price, I will consider offering it to them, but I will not "give" it away. The chassis and body are solid. .needs a bit of work on one section of floor (in pictures) i feel my price is fair considering i have over 10 grand invested in this car. I just feel it is time to let it go and get something smaller and easier to restore. I will consider trades (in order listed) for 1965-1967.5 datsun roadster, 1968 up 2000 roadster, datsun 610 hardtop, datsun 710, datsun hl510 coupe or 2 door sedan. Small pickup trucks also considered. (Preferably datsun )Will also entertain trades for other, slightly smaller Buicks. .no later than eighties models. I will also consider ford falcons or foxbody mustangs. If interested message me with what you have. Thank you and good luck! On Sep-16-17 at 15:56:22 PDT, seller added the following information: Ive had a few questions, so have Added more pics of interior and a few spots where rust repair will be needed in the future. To answer other question, The 430 and original to the car longtail TH350 (TH"375") were rebuilt approximately 13 years and 12k miles ago. If interested bidder is seeking a more original spec car I can, at additional cost, include a 1971 Buick 350 small block which I am currently rebuilding with the car at time of sale. Also. .AC compressor is from a 1967 oldsmobile 425 engine but the original compressor is included with the car.
