1968 Pontiac Firebird convertible with a recent ground up restoration. This vehicle has been meticulously restored to better than new condition and is ready to show and drive. The body is rust free and straight and freshly sprayed in a high gloss Ruby Red Metallic paint that dances in the sun. The black convertible top is brand new along with new BF Goodrich Radial TA tires on new Cragar SS wheels. The attention to detail is impressive as even the lug nuts and valve stems are chrome to not detract from the wheels. Under the hood sits a nicely dressed up correct “YJ” stamped 350 cubic inch V8 engine that has been painted gloss black and is adorned with lots of chrome pieces. An Edelbrock Endurashine Performer RPM intake is topped with a polished Holley 4 barrel carburetor. Edelbrock chrome air cleaner and valve covers decorate the engine and a chrome Powermaster alternator finishes it off. The rest of the engine compartment is done in satin black to really make the engine stand out when you open the hood. The interior is all new as well with black vinyl bucket seats and a center console with added Auto Gage chrome gauge cluster near the shifter. The carpet, door panels, seat covers,visors, and Firebird floormats are all new. The trunk is nicely finished in correct spatter paint and has a custom carpet inside to give some extra protection and a more finished look. This Firebird is a blast to drive. It has great power, shifts smooth, steers and stops like it should and is sure to get you plenty of thumbs ups and attention. Recent certified appraisal to come with the vehicle that shows the car is worth what I’m asking. Every part of this vehicle is either new or restored!
