Vehicle description
Offered here is a 1968 Pontiac Firebird that has been in the family since new (purchase by my grandfather). The car has spent its entire life in this county (Rockland, New York). The car was restored from the ground up (above the frame). It has a refreshed Pontiac 350 (from I believe a Lemans) and a new TH350 transmission (no kick down) purchased from Jegs. Car Runs and drives great and very reliable. Autometer gauges are all hooked up and working. The car has had almost everything replaced over the last 10 years (suspension, whole interior, transmission, rims, tires, CD player/Bluetooth, dual exhaust, disc brakes up front, etc). Paint is in excellent condition. Car has been driven approx. 300 miles in the last few years. I’ve been away on active duty so it has been in my parents’ garage and started monthly and taken out on occasion. Moving to the city and tired of paying the insurance on it.
Welcome to come take a look and test drive. Car is registered and insured title in hand. I have receipts for almost everything totaling over $35,000. The bad: wipers move slow, sometimes the interior light stays (but then shuts off so not sure if it’s just a wire), and horn just stopped….all minor things but easily fixed. Car was originally Mayfair Maze with a black vinyl top.
