1968 Plymouth Road Runner
In 1968 the Manufacture"s Race of the Performance Muscle car era was on & in full bloom. Plymouth was totally on point and heavily in the Horse Power competition and development amongst the other manufacturers. In 1968 Plymouth introduced the new Road Runner. Adding additional excitement Warner Brothers approved the use of the road runner Logo and the infamous Beep-Beep Horn was made available. MuscleCar Garage is excited to offer our Mopar Enthusiast this beautiful eye catching Road Runner finished in the Iconic Limelight Green (FC5) High Impact Paint applied in 2017 all wrapped around the traditional black vinyl bench seating with gray appointments that is in like new condition. The monster power-plant lurking under the lift off hood was provided by Blue Print Engine. It is a very stout 493 CID with a Holley 6-Barrel & Edelbrock fuel delivery system making 550+ HP and over 600+ FtLbs of Torque with the correct factory hood scoop letting fresh air in. This pavement pounding engine is mated to a new Passion Performance A-833 4-Speed Manual Transmission. Helping this Mopar Monster"s body handle the extra horsepower are Hotchkis Sub-Frame Connectors & Shocks, Caltracs Traction Bars and SPC Adjustable Control Arms. The coolant system has been restored and looks factory correct even though it has been upgraded for much more efficient cooling for the precious power-plant. This Road Runner has TTI Ceramic Coated Competition Headers and a full performance exhaust system that will turn anyone"s head when she emanates her vocal chords. This Mopar is ready to be driven and enjoyed as well as being a great investment. This Road Runner was built to educate "THAT" young driver in the next lane the lessons of the asphalt and show them how it was done old-school.
