Beautiful example of a truly original 1968 Plymouth GTX. Numbers matching 440 Super Commando paired to original numbers matching A-727 Torqueflight with original Suregrip 3:23 gears. 72,400 original miles on odometer. Inside, all gauges and switches (except clock) function including original AM radio and rear deck lid speakers. Front buddy seat is a cool option and makes space for one more passenger! Rare column shift with power steering. New reproduction 15x7 steel wheels and new tires are paired with the original dog dish hubcaps that came with the vehicle when new. Original owner kept service and maintenance receipts and logged all work done on vehicle for the 35 years he owned it. Vehicle documentation includes two complete and matching build sheets, original 1968 Belvedere Operating Instructions and Customer Care Warranty book signed by original owner. Car maintains all original parts and has never been rebuilt or modified. Original Carter ABS was saved but replaced by Edelbrock which works great. Original hounds tooth trunk mat was saved but replaced by Year One replacement. Both are included in sale. Trunk pan was professionally replaced 15 years ago and vehicle was repainted in original GG1 at the same time. All other engine parts on this rare original vehicle have correct date coding and are likely original to this vehicle. This rare, original survivor has been well cared for and runs great in all respects.
