Rare find . Original California black plate One owner 2 door post car !
I have the black plates and owners card from the original owner.
The build sheet and fender tag are missing .
Never ANY rust repairs. All original sheet metal !
Original wire harness !
Original floors !
Original undercoating !
Original gas tank !
Original Windshield !
Original glass !
Original dash pad with no cracks !
Original steering wheel !
Has new carpet and seats were re done.
Has new headliner .
This car was born a 318 auto .
Now has a nicely built 383 with a crisp shifting 727 3 speed auto trans.
The paint is a 9.5 out of 10. It"s not perfect but is straight. . Super Shiny with a deep gloss !
Exhaust Cut Outs are controlled by a switch on the dash.
Just flip the switch and the exhaust is wide open right after the TTI coated headers !
There are no cats on the car with one chamber mufflers. It"s loud either way you run it !
The interior is flawless. Has a white headliner and sun visors.
There is some road dirt on the rockers and the carpet. I didn"t have time to detail it before it took the pictures.
The sending unit in the tank needs replacing but I have one that comes with the car .
All lights and gauges function as they should .
It looks and drives like a new car . Absolutely a true time capsule !
This car is always maintained and stored in my garage. .
This car also has the original keys from 1968
I also have all four dog dish hubcaps to go with the car.
Exhaust cutout switch is located on the dashboard next to the washer button
