Looking for a nice car to work on during the upcoming cold winter months? First time ever offered here for sale is this hard to find 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396ci/325hp project, 125,049 actual miles, Power steering, Power brakes, 12 bolt rearend, This car has been stored away inside a building in a small town in Tennessee since 1989, 98% rust free southern body, All of the critical areas such as the floorpans, trunkpan, frame and where the windshield meets the dash is rock solid, There is a bubble at the bottom of the passenger side fender and a small amount at the base of the back glass easily repairable (Both pictured), Never subjected to salty roads or climates, The original engine and powerglide transmission were removed and disassembled 32 years ago for a rebuild and it never happened, Engine which is still at standard bore and the transmission will need to be rebuilt as well, It"s possible that a few small items are missing however I have the majority of it, I also have many of the items you see missing from the car ie. carpet sill plates, arm rest, door handles, rear seat, etc. Originally Grecian Green with it"s original black vinyltop, Only 1 repaint many years ago to the color it is now, Black bucketseat interior w/console and floorshift, Body wise this car is very clean and straight and still retains all of it"s original sheetmetal, Never wrecked or patched on, Both doors open and close like new, All of the glass is original, Still has 2 of the 4 T3 headlights (high beam), Rare one time opportunity and this will make someone a beautiful car, Overall a great father/son/daughter project to restore back as original or custom build it for yourself, Many possibilities with this one, Feel free to contact Paul @ with any questions, Bank wire transfer preferred for payment and/or cash as it is the quickest and safest method of payment for both the buyer and the seller, If you cannot follow our payment instructions please look elsewhere, Sold in as-is condition with a clean clear Tennessee title, Thanks again for looking and bidding, Zero bidders/bidders with less than 10 feedback must contact me before bidding or I will cancel your bid/bids.
