Vehicle description
The good:
Fresh built motor pulled out of a jet boat after only 2 days of use (454 pushing 525+ hp)
New water pump
New aluminum radiator
New Painless fuse center
Front end sheet metal is pefect
Most of the car is covered in a black epoxy now and has kept the rust away outside the few problem areas (see below)
New Tail Panel (not yet installed)
New Carpet kit (also not installed)
Original Holley Double Pumper with the choke tower milled off (was rebuilt in the last few years)
Holley Street Dominator intake
Brand new driveshaft built locally when the big block swap happened
Brand new flywheel
Newer battery
SS clone hood with hood vents
Chassis is in great shape
New hooker headers
Brand new mini high torque starter
Garage kept
The not as good:
As with most cars pushing 50 years old, rust has taken it"s toll on some of the body panels. Both quarter panels have issues at the solder seam and just below the doors drip channel. Passenger side could be sanded down and filled in but the drivers side needs a bottom quarter panel.
The tail panel is wonky which is why I bought the new skin (included)
Missing most of the trim around the doors/windows
Both front seats were sold awhile back (was going to do the resto mod thing and get some newer comfy seats)
700r4 transmission needs to be bulked up or replaced for the new motor
Needs the proper engine mount bolts
The electrical system was put together to just enough to get the motor running needs to be finished out
