Vehicle description
For Sale: Our running 1967 Porsche 912 w/ stock engine and manual 5 speed. This car has been used minimally for cruising around the town with my 6 year old. .
I installed some new Empi HPMX40 carbs to replace some tired Webers, and installed a new Bursch exhaust and deleted the rotted euro heat exchangers.
It looks to have been partially restored years ago and wears a poor Blue paint that looks okay from 10+ feet. There are scratches, chips, and some bubbles.
The car drives and stops as it should and all lights are functioning. It has been a blast to drive.
The speedometer cable is broken and the mileage is not accurate or known.
A PO has welded in some flat steel floors in the front pan, and some patches @ the rear seats where water must have settled. All glass is in good condition. The windscreen and rear window seem to have new seals and the rest of the car is due for new ones.
The rear pop-out windows and the front triangle swing windows move well.
Newer battery, headliner and dash pad. One new tail lamp lens has been installed and one in the packaging still.
Carpet kit is in decent shape.
The passenger door is not set well and this side has more evidence of body work and repair in the rocker panel.
New Yokohama tires on stock chrome wheels + includes 1 steel rim.
Front seats are from a new Porsche and the tracks for them are pretty crudely mounted but work well and are very comportable.
No radio and a nasty saw job was used to install a new radio I"m guessing.
