Exterior 1967 Pontiac Lemans Sport Coupe, 2 door Hardtop, V8- 389 - 2brl , 3spd turbo 400 Automatic " NEAR PERFECT DRIVER" An original Texas rust free car brought to New York approxiamately 5 years ago as weekend cruiser. Then a lengthy on frame restoration ensued. by it's professional mechanic/bodyman owner. . . Any and everything needing attention was examined and addressed. The original drivetrain was replaced with a low mileage 1966 Pontiac Catalina V-8 , 389 cubic inch with a two barrel carb. The original 2 spd power glide was replaced by a 3 spd turbo hydromatic 400 out of a 1975 Pontiac Bonneville, also with low milaege. Welded custom dual exhaust gives the power plant a clean crisp sound as it is maneuvered down the roads. The full interior was just redone professionally Bose Auto Upholstery, no money spared on this part of the resoration. from the Headliner , to the OEM styled carpeting. The seats were done in the stunning Parchment original vinyl pleated seat upholstery This old school Poncho turns head at every corner, it's one of these cars that does not go un noticed. The original Auqua metallic contrasted by the White Parchment with the famous green tinted glass does its job of getting noticed by all. .
