Vehicle description
A truly original daily driver. This classic car runs great, stops as it should, drives straight on any road. The engine is a strong running 326 code YN, the intake manifold is a GTO 400 coupled to a 4 BBl Qjet carburetor that idles and runs great. No overheating issues. The transmission is a PowerGlide, it shifts smoothly. The differential is a code WG; 3.36. The interior is complete and in great condition, no tears, no rips. Each warning light work; in addition it has a VDO electrical Oil pressure gauge, Volt gauge and Temperature gauge. It has a Pontiac aftermarket radio with AM/FM/Aux. with front and rear speakers and yes, the clock also works. The interior lights work including the light in the glove compartment. The factory A/C is complete, the compressor and compressor clutch work but need service The trunk is super clean. The body paint needs attention, the trunk lid clearcoat lifted on a couple of areas. The body is in very good shape with minor cosmetic imperfections
During the past five years have replaced the heater core, I replaced the body bushings although it was not necessary (no rust), starter, battery, front and rear drum brakes shoes, front and rear coil springs; shock absorbers in addition to all the required normal maintenance. The title is clear, vehicle is insured. I have new emblems and weatherstrips not installed yet in the event I decide to have it painted.
