Vehicle description
Classic Mini Moke made by Leyland, Australia.
I purchased it early 2010s from a guy in Southern California. Not sure of prior ownerships.
I did a refit on the vehicle in 2013 including: * new paint * new top and spare cover * built new seats to give me more leg room (I am 6"3") * re-wired the Moke with marine wire and gear since the original wiring was cracking (I did a simple install) * new wheels and tires * added new spring suspension and replaced old cracked rubber engine mount shocks * had a muffler shop fit a muffler to tame noise * New seat belts, interior items, made up a wood dash, added light rock guards, new side lights and tail lights * took the fuel tank out, cleaned up & repaired
She runs ok but for not being used much for several years (thats the reason im selling). Slow oil leak like most of them. Brakes need a service and the whole car should be looked over by a mechanic since I did a lot of the work myself and am more of a weekend warrior. I put a backup camera on but needs a new screen as it went kaput (probably just take the whole thing off).
There is what I would consider minor rust evidence under the paint I put on here and there. Some on the hood, at welds, etc. She got a good bump on the front bumper as is shown in the pictures.
Have loved this cute little car. Hopefully she can find someone who loves her!
