Vehicle description
1967 Thunderbird Original 428 FE engine and 3-Speed Transmission. Original Suicide Doors. Installed a mild cam by Comp Cams. Vinyl top in fair condition, needs conditioning, and UV protectant. Bought an MSD electronic distributor, Edelbrock Intake Manifold and Sanderson Shorty Headers, just haven’t installed any of those. Took the a/c and heater core out because it wasn’t working. Engine rebuild was at 60000 miles. Dash instrumental guages need to be fixed, nothing works. I still have original hub caps and chrome body molding. Someone tried to steal it awhile back, messed up the dash and tore the radio and ignition out. Mechanic installed a different starter but seems like it needs a new one. Since then I kinda lost motivation to do anything to it. I reinstalled a new ignition with an old school kill switch. The car ran the last time I drove it, but it’s sat for a few months so the battery is dead. The car is pretty much a project, but it’s something you won’t have to start from ground zero with.
