Vehicle description
1967 Mustang Fastback S-Code 390
Specifics: VIN: 7T02S157832 Real Deal S-Code 390-4V Fastback (now has a 351) Originally a Four Speed Manual Transmission from the factory (now has an automatic) Came Lime gold from the factory(now painted/cloned to look like the mustang from Bullitt) 3.25 Limited Slip rear from the factory Heavy duty suspension from the factory Disc brakes up front Fold down back seat Further Details: Clear NJ Title The Mustang will need restoration but is a great start as it is complete. Interior is very nice and complete. The headliner is intact with no rips. All glass and trim is in good condition (trunk lid trim needs new clips. Dual exhaust that looks very nice looking at the rear of the car. The original engine and transmission were removed way before I purchased it and replaced with a 351 and an automatic transmission. The clutch pedal was removed as well. The roof has dents and the lower quarters will need to be redone. As far as the undercarriage, it will need to be media blasted/stripped some how to see what needs work. From what I see it is not as bad as a lot of what I see online being built or for sale. I installed a new starter two years ago and the motor does run but it needs a new carb or carb rebuild as it"s starving for gas. The lights work but a few bulbs might need to be replaced.
I have owned this Fastback for around 8 years and have been tossing around whether to sell it or not. It has always been stored under a carport for the 8 years I"ve owned it. Just last week I had to move my collection of cars around and snapped a few pictures incase I decided to sell it. Today I made the decision that I rather see someone give it new life instead of sitting any longer. I have way too many cars in my collection and no longer have the time to keep up with all of them.
