This 1967 Highly collectable investment Ferrari 330 GTC, 4 litre V12, 5 speed LHD is one of 598 cars.
It is in excellent condition and has recently undergone a complete restoration.
All engine and mechanical repairs were completed during 2020 by Auto Restorations of Christchurch, New Zealand. This work consisted of compliance preparation such as changing new bushes, fuel lines, restored radiator, restored weber carbs and top of engine, cams, points etc. etc. The car body was restored stripping back to bare metal (boot, bonnet, doors off, windshields out) and repainted to a very high standard in the original colour, Grigio Fumo/Grey.
This was followed by an interior refurbishment, that is the black leather interior was fully restored along with all new carpets and wood rimmed steering wheel.
Shod with new period correct Michelin Tyres over original Campagnolos magnesium wheel rims.
Four private owners - The car was sold in 1967 by Ferrari of Virginia, USA to a New Yorker, who owned it for five years. The second owner, a Canadian, noted that the engine overheated and was sent back to the dealership for repairs. The engine was replaced and re stamped 10445. The car remained in his collection in dry storage for over 25 years. The third owner owned the car for a further 18 years. It has had one owner in New Zealand.
The GTC"s excellent driving characteristics can be attributed to various chassis features first introduced two years earlier on the 275 GTB. Of those, the fully independent rear suspension was the most obvious. It replaced the live axle setup used so many years on the marque"s Grand Tourers. Weight balance on the short wheelbase (2400 mm) chassis benefited greatly from the gearbox incorporated in the rear suspension (transaxle).
Power comes from a long stroke version of the Colombo SOHC V12. Displacing just under four litres and breathing through three Weber Carburetors, it was good for 300 bhp and 326 Nm of torque.
The boot offers ample storage space and is equipped with a full-size Campagnolo spare and Ferrari tool kit.
The bonnet, boot and doors are all aluminium and so is the engine heads and block to reduce weight.
Car is fully complied and registered for New Zealand roads.

As per usual, Ferrari"s engineers kept pushing the envelope in order to create a car that would provide unmatched performance, as well as luxurious appointments that their discerning clients demanded and the 330 GTC was intended to be the grandest of tourers.
It was designed to cruise effortlessly and was luxuriously appointed to carry its occupants down the autostrada in style and ample performance. All in all, a very pleasing example of Ferraris best, one which offers its new owner the chance to drive and enjoy the car as is for many years to come.
