Vehicle description
1967 Dodge Coronet 500 318 V8 727 Torque flight automatic transmission Factory Air Conditioning car -not working, however complete 1967 Dodge Bright Red - w/correct white bucket seats – black headliner. 1 of 29,300 Dodge Coronet 500’s produced model year 1967 Manufactured in Los Angeles it was the 57,236 th 1967 Coronet produced. Original Los Angeles California car, I believe from 1967 to 2010 when I purchased it. I have copy of California title, and original black and yellow California plates. I purchased the car in 2010, and began to restore the car. I believe the car to be a nice quality driver. Mileage unknown Body Originally Medium Turquoise Blue. I changed the color to 1967 Dodge Bright Red which was one of the color choices that year. The body and chassis on the car are in very good condition. Chassis is solid and in very good condition. Car has never been in the snow or on salted roads (I never had the car undercoated.) Side trim, window trim and overall chrome is driver quality. Door handles, mirror, and emblems have been re-chromed. Mechanicals 318 runs very good. 727 shifts smooth Brakes, exhaust, chassis have no issues. Tires have very low miles on them, original 14” rims and hubcaps. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Repairs performed Carburetor and intake manifold replaced from a 2 bbl to a 4 bbl Edelbrock Performer setup Point ignition removed and MSD- 6A ignition installed with ignition cutoff. Slow engagement into gear when the car sits for a while Steering wheel has a few cracks from age. Dash has a crack in the middle of the dash Has a factory working AM radio however speaker should be replaced as it’s likely original Speedometer will bounce around at 40-plus mph. Windshield, and rear window were resealed for the paint job; however they have slow leaks, and should be resealed. (I do not drive the car in the rain.) A/C is complete however needs repairs I have vacuum switch for heater –A/C controls; however needs installed.
