Vehicle description

The 1967 Chrysler Imperial Crown Coupe. This was the quintessential luxury car driven by captains" of industry. .and it can be yours for the right price! I am sadly selling the Imperial because I recently got married and have been informed that I have to make a choice: sleep in the house or sleep in the car.
I"ve owned this car for several years now and put on about 1,000 miles. What a fantastic classic car. She runs great but like any older car, needs a little tender love and car as well as a good old Italian tune up every now and then. I recently discovered a frozen piston ring on cylinder 8 that is causing some mild blow-by, but otherwise the engine fires right up and runs great.
I replaced the carburetor, fuel filter, fuel pump, alternator, electronic ignition systems from original points ignition.
The car will come with about $2,000 worth of parts in the trunk ready to be mounted which will address many concerns I had on the car. These parts include:
- 2 new motor mounts - brake parts including 2 rotors and 8 pads - various relays - 4 original additional hubcaps - 1 complete tail light assemblies - 1 front grill - 2 new sealed sylvania head light units - air vents - front and side turn signal reflectors - driver side mirror assembly - new high performance aluminum radiator (the original copper recently sprung a pinhole leak) - 4 new KYB shock absorbers (front and rear) - various trim pieces
She has some cosmetic damage on the passenger side from a stationary hit during previous ownership—I never got around to fixing it. As I mentioned earlier, the car runs great, however the mechanic who was putting on new brakes on the car suddenly passed away mid job leaving the job unfinished. The rear brakes are ok and operable, but the front brakes need to be put back together, hence the brake parts. Also the engine in this car is a 7.2 liter (440 cubic in.) wedgehead with a rare, forged crankshaft. The crank is good for 800hp if you want to pivot into a real project. .otherwise, this Imperial will get you many wows on the road.
