“After nearly a year of the initial build we took the car up to HotRods and Customs in Oceanside for the paint job, unfortunately after paying them handsomely they failed to finish the paint job.The underside of the body was done, and they married the body to the frame, after that they were to finish prepping the welds from where we cut in the quarter panels, and then do the skim coat prior to laying the paint on.In actuality what they ended up doing was grinding off nearly all the primer we had on the car, and then closing their business. As you can see in the pictures, the car has suffered some from that time frame. There is some light surface rust as you would expect from the metal being left exposed. We put hundreds of man hours into this car, I just can't let all that work go to waste.” |

Vehicle description
This was to be the first offering of R.A.T.I.C.K.L.E. Performance, the car was being prepped for the Mecum Auction. Sadly the parent company went under before the project could be finished. We took this car all the way down to the frame and started the build from there. My lead Fabricator was Danny Guerrero, although Danny now does Custom Harley"s his expertise is evident throughout this build.
This car was to feature many upgrades and several were already installed, such as a Air Bag suspension kit by Air Ride. 4 wheel Disk Brake kit by WilWood, a 700R4 transmission, a Serpentine Belt Kit, and Red Urethane Bushings and Sway Bar Mounts throughout the suspension. I still have the Complete UnderDash A/C and Heater Kit.
Danny designed and fabricated several innovative items himself, such as a Aluminum Center Counsel, Aluminum Face-plates for the dash and Air Ride Switches, a Smooth Firewall, and Fully Boxed Trailing Arms for the rear suspension.
Since I will not be able to finish this build, I have decide to offer it to someone that will.
