Vehicle description
History:
I am the third owner of this vehicle. The previous owner bought car from original owner that passed away. The previous owner had possession of vehicle for over 20 years. He decided to sell for financial reasons and that is how I obtained the vehicle. The vehicle has an original V8 327 Motor and original automatic transmission and 10 bolt rear-end. Before the original owner died it is said that he rebuild the heads and carburetor which is still in the bag (see photo). Original valve covers and air cleaner are in trunk, wrapped.
Motor:
Motor/trans/rear-end are original to this vehicle. It still has California Smog equipment.
Rust:
The body of the vehicle is primarily cancer and rust free. See photos. The previous owner had the car sitting in a field in Arizona. Water had collected near the drivers side seal plate and moisture developed under the seal plate (see photos). There is no cancer underneath the car. Floor pans are pretty decent other than two spots (photos upon request). Vehicle has never been repainted. Shows original paint and original interior. This car has been stored the last 25 years outside in the Arizona sun. Back rear lower window has surface rust. Undercarriage very solid with minor surface rust.
Zero Bondo:
There is no body repair or bondo work on the vehicle. Vehicle has never been wrecked and repaired. All original panels still exist on the vehicle. Vinyl top completely disintegrated. The roof has no cancer.
It is very difficult to find an untouched, unmolested, original, numbers matching Camaro. And the reserve reflects this rare find!
