This is a two owner car that has spent most of its life garaged in New Mexico. The indicated mileage of 67000 is accurate. It is an extremely clean, unrusted original car, save for an excellent repaint about 20 years ago in the original Colorado Red. The Imron paint is still outstanding today, save for a few tiny stone chips. The car received a Bronze level award from the Healey Concours Registry in the 90"s, quite an achievement for an original unrestored car.
The first owner ordered and received this car in England while in the service, hence the european registration plate. It is equipped as a US export model. It was unusually ordered with no overdrive, but it still is quite pleasant to drive on modern expressways.
This car runs as well as it looks. It has been cherished and protected its entire life. This car will not disappoint, it drives like an original Healey should. The only significant alteration is the four 72 spoke chrome wire wheels and radial tires now on the car. The original five painted 60 spoke wheels are still serviceable and will be included with the car.
The car is located in Albuquerque New Mexico within a few miles of I-40 and the Albuquerque airport. We welcome inspection of this car by you or your delegate. Just contact me and I will make arrangements with the owner.
I have no plans to end this auction early, but reserve the right to end the auction early at the discretion of the owner.
