Vehicle description
I’m selling my 1966 Pontiac Lemans. This is a turn key car, ready to be driven and enjoyed. It’s been my daily driver since I purchased it in 2011. It’s a great reliable vehicle that runs beautifully. I’ve poured a ton of time and energy into the car and was gearing up to begin body work and paint. These cars are becoming more and more rare and I hate to sell it, but sadly I need to eliminate some debts and so have decided to let her go. What follows is a list of broad spectrum items pertaining to the vehicle. I find these cars on line either as pure junk (total project) between $4,000 and $8,000 and finished for $18,000 to $23,000 - Factory 326 - Factory Rochester 2brl freshly rebuilt with new accelerator pump installed - Transmission was a fresh rebuild when I bought the car in 2011. Serviced last summer, new filter and fluid change - Converted to one wire alternator, car comes with factory voltage regulator and alternator - New heater / air blower motor installed - Car converted to electronic ignition, all new components installed, distributor re-built, new coil installed, spare coil included in sale - New Interior started (both front seats re-upholstered, new padding, new floor padding and carpet kit) car comes with lower kick panel carpet to finish lower inner panel on driver’s side door – Interior is excellent - Finned aluminum valve covers installed - Factory AC Compressor removed for easy access to plugs but comes with car - New plugs installed at time of ignition conversion gapped to .030 - Drivers side A-Arm rebuilt and upgraded (factory A Arm was wearing out) - New Windshield installed. Car comes with window-weld ribbon seals for rear window (front as well, I bought a set before new windshield was installed) - Automatic door lock plungers installed in both doors as part of alarm system (alarm system does not currently work, something simple in the wiring I’m sure) - CD player installed in Dash - Flowmaster mufflers installed on exhaust system (all new when I bought the car in 2011) – the car sounds killer - Gauge Cluster installed below dash (temp gauge feed needs seated yet, but oil pressure and voltage function beautifully) - Pontiac 1970 Judge Mags on Car. Car also comes with 4 x 15” steel rims, two have rubber on them, plus factory spare - New shocks front and rear, new rear springs installed. Stabilizer Air bags installed in rear springs (I never used them…just installed at time of spring and shock swap) - No pitting on bumpers – they look incredible.
