“This Jeep has not been driven for the last 12 years. Ran well when i received it. The engine turns over freely now.Has manual floor shift transmission in good condition. The clutch responds well to the clutch pedal, no hydraulics to fail . The side of the bed has rust [pic],cab floorboard rust, and some rust at the front of the bed, pictures. All glass is there, drivers door regulator will need an adjustment. The gas tank will need to be replaced. Based on my experience with this Jeep, you will not have much effort getting this Jeep to run. Front axle assembly is the big knuckle ball assembly you find in heavy duty 4x4s of the past generations.Heavy duty truck needing TLC. Recent paint is for metal protection, not trying to hide anything.” |

Vehicle description
Here is a 1966 Jeep J 2000 Gladiator Pickup. In my inventory now for 12 years. It"s best to move it on down the line since it is way down on the list of priorities. This Jeep was running well when I received it. It is equipped with a small block Chevy V-8 engine and a floor shift manual transmission. I Lifted the truck just days ago for inspection, the engine is smoothly free. The clutch is totally free. Engages and releases totally. None of this hydrolic release that always fails (Ford). The front axle assembly is the large knuckle ball assembly, found only in past generation axle assemblies, heavy duty. All drive-line components are there and in place. I don"t see any suspect components. I have a personal history with this truck as far back as 45 years. When the former owner pasted away, his son drove the truck for several years and he called to see if I wanted it. He replaced it with a new vehicle as we often do. I am a dealer, I make this statement, this truck should be easy to start. You will need a battery, a fuel tank, and fresh gas. The drivers window regulator will need some adjustment. There is no warranty of any kind implied or expressed. Please make an appointment to have the vehicle inspected. I will be happy to assist with loading for transport After auction closes you must deposit $200 into pay pay and have total payment by cash, wire transfer or certified check within 5 days of auction end. Funds must clear before you remove the vehicle. If you have no or low feedback and no communications skills, good chance I will erase your bid. My goal is only this, I want to sell this truck.
