Vehicle description
This 1966 Jaguar XKE is Series I coupe that is finished in Primrose Yellow and was refurbished in the mid-1980s. The twin-cam 4.2L inline-six is backed by a 4-speed manual gearbox, and receipts and documentation cover the two previous owners.
The second owner commissioned the refresh, which consisted of new floors, an interior refresh, and the repaint in the current shade.
This example was acquired in 1989 by the previous owner, who addressed several maintenance items, including installing the three rebuilt SU carbs, new hoses, a rebuilt radiator, stainless brake lines, and much more.
This E-Type is now being being offered with receipts and documentation dating to the mid-1980s, a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate, and a clean New York title.
The interior was re-done with black upholstery, carpeting, and door panels some time ago.
The 4.2L twin-cam inline-six is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission, and modifications include a stainless steel exhaust and heat-treated manifolds. New floors were installed by the second owner during the earlier cosmetic refurbishment. Additional undercarriage photos are viewable in the gallery.
