1965 VW bug in great condition. New battery, new tires, starts right up. The car has been converted to 12V but other than that all original to our knowledge. Has modern stereo in glovebox with amp and 6x9 speakers. The dash is uncut. Custom pin striping on dash and exterior of car. The interior could stand to be redone if you are looking for a show car but is fine as is if you are just looking for a driver.
Prior to getting it pulled out of the garage to sell the car had not been driven for a couple of years. We replaced the battery and put fresh fuel in the car and it started right up. Given its lack of use the last couple of years it could probably use a quick tune up or once over. Active kids in travel sports do not allow for us to use this car as much as we would like. It will be sad to see it go but it needs to go to someone who will drive and appreciate it!
Please note the photos of the driver rear fender. It got a ding in it while moving it out of the garage after the bulk of the photos were already taken. I have ordered a can of Java Green touch up paint that will go with the car so it can be cleaned up. Just wanted potential bidders to be aware of this.
