Here for sale is a rare 1965 comet cyclone 98% original sheet metal car. Nice yellow exterior sporting original style wheels, very nice black interior. This is an original 289 4bbl car. Currently boasting a fresh rebuilt 289 motor with less than 5000 miles on the motor and trans. 302 internals making this a 307 ci. Featuring pro ported and polished 1969 351w heads with screw in studs and roller rockers, hyd roller comp cam,10 to 1 comp, forged pistons, holley 650 dbl pump carb, fresh pro built c4 trans with a 3700 PTC stall, rebuilt rear end 3.91 posi. This car runs incredible making lots of power 12.90 1/4 mile yet very mild mannered. This is a very clean car with a great underbody. it does have a little bubbling in the paint over the rear wheel and a bit on the doors but overall a great car to take to shows. The car will need some new mufflers. We have owned this car for 22 years and have misplaced the title due to a move however we have just received the replacement title from sec of state. All free and clear. This car is being sold as is where is with no warranty implied. There will be a $1,500.00 non refundable deposit due within 24 hours of auctions end to be paid via paypal. The balance is to be paid within 14 days of auctions end to be paid in cash or certified check. Title and car will be released when any and all checks have cleared the bank.
