Vehicle description
A specially build 1965 C-10 big window delux with a modern 2.2L drivetrain, 5 speed transmission, AC, and four wheel disk brakes. A lot of total travel on the air ride suspension. From frame on the ground to normal ride hight and anywhere in between.
The body is set on a new floor pain and c ustom frame using a triangulated 4 link in the back and modified s-10 a-arm set up in front. The whole bed is hinged in the back and folds up to expose the air tank and rear end. The cab has been sound proofed using Fatmat 70 Mils nominal thickness and Fatmat Floor Liner. For lighting it has a supper bright "real" HID head lights from a hummer H2. The rims ar purple powder coated 15" steely"s with 225 BF Goodwrinch super wide white walls.
It has a fully custom brown on tan interior. Safety wise it has full modern three point lap and shoulder style seat belts (and the 4 wheel disk brakes help)! The truck comes with two integrated pioneer front speakers and is wired two rear and a full sub/amp setup.
For protection the truck also has a viper keyless alarm system with two keys and fobs.
There are the usual small rust holes in the rockers (shown) associated with a 50+ year old truck and one bullet hole in the rear added in for free. This is currently a daily driven light duty "work" truck with the normal wear and tare that entails to the bed and paint. The Wood bead has some warps. The paint is a pearl white plastic dip over the original white blue and rust orange patina of the truck (shown in last three photos). If you like that look peal off the pearl white. I love the natural patina look, my H.O.A. did not!
All-in-all it is a very straight C-10 that is a current reliable daily driver. It is ready to get in and driver or take it all the way to 10+ show truck and any where in between. It is LS swap ready with all needed electronics installed and tub"ed to accommodate up to 12" wide (315) rear rims if your into a hotrod look.
