Vehicle description
Vehicle Details 1965 Chevy C10, Short Bed, Step-side w/ rare drivers side spare tire mount - This truck has the original 292 six-cylinder engine that has been professionally rebuilt with less than 100 miles on it. The transmission is the original 3 on-the-tree. This truck runs great and is drivable. This unfinished project has had a "Cab Off" reno with all new floor pans and rocker panels; new gas tank at rear of truck; the frame was cleaned and painted with POR15 before remounting the cab to frame. All new rear suspension and a professionally rebuilt rear-end. Included in this package is all new short-bed body components still in the box from LMC, including new rear fenders(left having recess for spare tire), front bed panel, new side panels and mounting rails. The tailgate & rear bumper are original and in great shape. There are too many parts to list here that will also be included in this deal as well. For example: new battery; 4 vintage original dog dish orange bow tie hub caps; 5 original 6 lug wheels in addition to the 4 on the truck; 2 brand new tires; the original jack w/ under-seat mount; new C10 fender emblems; refurbished original steering wheel w/ bow tie horn button and much, much more. With the work that has already been done and the spare parts I have over $ 20k invested in this truck but do not have the time here on the farm to finish it. It needs some more body work and TLC to finish it up but when done it will be an original 56 year-old classic truck. All additional parts will be boxed and loaded onto the truck bed and inside the cab for shipping remotely - I will respond to serious inquires only. Happy Bidding…NOTE: The winning bidder must over-night a certified check for the full price of truck within 3 business days of the final bid and arrange for retrieving the truck as soon as practicable thereafter. The truck runs great and is drivable but needs additional assembly in order to be considered "Road Worthy". The truck is started and driven weekly here on the farm, to insure it continues to run well. This vehicle is being sold "as is, where is" with no guarantees or warrantees by the seller.
