*On the Hemmings Top 100 List of American Collector Cars. With inspiration taken from Ferrari & Rolls Royce to produce the most beautiful post war American car of All.
*Sergio Pininfarina - cleared it "One of the most Beautiful American Cars ever Built." I must agree for I have owned this car for over 38 years and I have not seen another American Car in the last fifty years that comes close to its classic lines and beauty. The car belongs with someone who will appreciate and drive it; or completely restore it to bring it back to its true glory.
*Through the 1980"s, I took her to several classic car rallies but never entered her for fearing she wasn"t worthy. But during the 1990"s, she was in storage until my son showed interested and on a whim got her in top running order in early 2006 taking her to the 58th Annual Lake Forest IL Auto Show where she took 2nd place in its class. Then, in the same year entered her and she took Third Place at the 41st Annual Grayslake IL Car Show.
*The car has never been restored; ALL original except car was painted Black in 1979 originally Silver, in 06 after being in storage spent over 4K to get her running in top form.then adding the red line tires and new Buick wheels in 2013. The paint shows a great shine but there are some scratches and minor cracks. The car will need a heater core and the carpet is not the best. There is a small exhaust manifold lead (very common on these cars)
*The sale will come with new carpet and heater core (not installed). Along with extra headlamp motor, relays, a few moldings etc,.
*It"s a all numbers matching GS ,and I"m the seconds owner and have owned her for the last 38 years.
,* I will offer the owner a NEW Buick 425 Short Block that I purchased in 1980, as insurance and as luck had it, I did not need!
