I am a long time member of the Austin Healey Club of America. This is the 10th Healey that I have had restored over the years. This is an immaculately restored Austin Healey 3000. We started with a well cared for donor car, who according to our information was owned by the same service station owner for over 30 years! ! Our goal was a INVESTMENT GRADE SHOWCAR-DRIVER. We desired perfection and restored it like we were going to keep it forever! No shortcuts, no stone unturned! Car was already bare-metaled and painted by a previous owner. Paint is excellent!

Below is a non-inclusive list of what was done to the car: All receipt documented British Motor Heritage Trust Certificate Complete original engine rebuild: we have put 1800 miles on the car to properly sort and break-in, New $600 exhaust system Healey 5 speed transmission installed, original transmission goes with the car. This is a wonderful update for this classic, synchronized now in FIRST GEAR, a $3500 upgrade. Texas Cooler Fan New leather interior New back seat shelf cost $1100 New Carpet Tonneau cover 5 new 60 spoke chrome wire wheels 5 new tires Suspension, brakes etc redone solid frame and clean underneath, see pictures New wiring harness Starter rebuilt All gauges and turn signals work; trafficator has been rebuilt by Healey trafficator expert in California and works perfectly Has been converted to negative ground, modern radio installed with mp3 port, CD player and 3000 logo plate fits when radio face plate is removed like for car shows, etc Cell phone DC charger installed New California Car Cover tailored to this car: $225 cost New quality CANVAS TOP; far superior to vinyl as you avoid the cracking of vinyl problem NEW top boot, purchased from AH Spares in England, this one fits, unlike those purchased in USA.
