This is an older (1997) restored Porsche 356C Coupe. Car was repainted in its original color (#6407) Signal Red. Paint work is stunning, all deco trim in very good condition, all chrome is high quality, window seals new. All new leather interior, all gauges redone, clock works. Doors, hood, deck lid and transaxle are all numbers matching per COA. At some point of August 2002 the “Third Engine Case Piece” was replaced for an unknown reason with a factory replacement without the original engine number stamped in the area under the generator stand. The two case halves however are original and rebuilt to the car as delivered. This is the best driving 356 I have ever driven, and with disc brakes makes for a great driving experience. Undercarriage detail is exceptional (see photos). This car is rust free. Comes with no issues. Everything works as it should. Detailed history file. Original tool kit and manual included. Carburetors 2018 rebuilt to concour spec. Cleanest 356C around and priced correctly as an investment to enjoy!
Please refer to the attached Kardex and History of this car.
I"ve owned this beautiful car since December, 2013. The car was originally purchased new in Texas by Mitchell and remained there until 2003 when it was sold to Campbell of Seattle, Washington. then in 2005 sold to Goodell of Seattle Washington. Then sold to Don Ahearn in 2008, then in 2009 the car was sold to Fischer in Albany NY, I punched the car from Fischer December, 2013 and now resides in Setauket NY.
All seals were replaced during restoration, prior 2009. Car blows no smoke, there is NO RUST, I am the 6th owner for six years, (Mitchell, Campbell, Goodell, Ahearn, Fischer, Vitale). I had the carbs and fuel pump rebuilt to concours spec. .No issues with trans, synchros work great. .This car will drive you from NY to CA and back all day, every day. Very clean, straight, all caps perfect, no accidents, paint perfect original color, interior redone at time of restoration and perfect. The car has won many shows/concours, always covered in climate controlled garage.
I"ve owned 15 Porsches, (2) 356Cs and know a great car when I see one. .This is a great car! That said I am selling the car only because it is part of my retirement plan.
