1964 FORD GALAXY auto, pb, ps ac (under dash)
Needs lots LOVE and TLC. I"m listing this for a friend that ran a garage for 25 years but could never find time for his own projects. Now he"s retired and diagnosed with cancer so he is forced to let go some of them.
BODY was off frame, it has been bead blasted, primed, and painted, aqua green with Ivory top (original color). It is straight with no bondo underbody painted green also with acrylic enamel, roof is a better grade paint. Passenger door has been replaced. new body bushings (Carpenter)
DOORS are mounted and aligned, has new weather stripping and new roof rails, sound deadening installed
LIGHTS all lenses are there, many in duplicate
CHROME all chrome is there and in good shape most in duplicates
GLASS all glass is good,windshields installed FRONT HAS WIPER SCRATCHES but will buff out.
WIPERS original
GAUGES all there original
DASH pulled and painted black with all knobs and controls .
SEATS and DOOR PANELS are all there but will need upholstery, has new head liner with all rods
BUMPERS front and rear original, no dents but need rechromeing, painted brackets
CHASSIS floor pans replaced and frame painted black underneath of body painted also.
BRAKES power with new m/c and booster, stock drums all checked out (I would change front to disc with a dual master cylinder)
TRANSMISSION has been gone through (FMX) but an AOD would fit right in.
ENGINE 390 v8 rebuilt and never cranked with rebuilt FMX 4barrel ford carbureator
GAS TANK new dent stock, new sender, never filled, gas lines cleaned
FUEL PUMP new never primed
EXHAUSTS has none Rims original 14" with original Hub Caps Auction may end early as it is For Sale Locally
