FOR SALE "NO RESERVE" Very nice 1964 Ford Falcon Futura Convertible. I purchased this vehicle in 2006 and now offer it for sale in pretty much the same condition as I received it 15 years ago. It has mostly sat in the garage. Time to let someone drive this beauty!
The previous owner did the work on the car.
The engine has been replaced with a rebuilt 260 V8. The car starts right up and the engine sounds strong. It has a nice rumble to it. The convertible top has been replaced and looks good though the back plastic is a little hazy, not to bad though. Goes up and down very well. The paint looks great inside and out. I haven"t seen any rust but I"m a novice. I"ll try and get pictures for any area of interest. The steering is how I remember them in the 60"s. .loose, in other words the steering wheel has some play. Feels OK going down the road though. The glass is pretty good but the side windows need a hand assist when rolling up. The back windows work pretty good. The heater fan does not work. The head lights, blinkers, tail/brake lights and the wipers work fine. New Battery. Tires are in good shape, spare will need to be replaced. The upholstery looks great. .no rips!
The odometer shows 18126. I"m not sure if that"s when the engine was replaced or not. The engine compartment looks great.
