What we have here is a 1964 Ford Fairlane 500 for sale ! It is red on red and white. This car was manufactured with a 6 cyl automatic, but it was available with several v8 options, one of which is a 289, which at some point in history was placed in this car, with a 2 bbl carb. Column automatic. The paint is very very nice cond overall and is the body, the body is exceptional cond, all the molding , chrome and trim , and glass is in very nice cond as well. The interior is also very nice, it is a factory ac car, but a few pieces are missing. I recently took the time to put in a new battery, points , dist cap, rotor, plugs, wires, starter solenoid and it fires right up, it does run and drive. The motor sounds strong but it does smoke a bit, and It has a transmission leak . This car comes with manual steering and brakes. I looked into crate motors, or rebuilding this motor, so many options and all are fairly priced, just depends on your specific needs, I also researched disc brake conversion and the addition of power steering, not complicated at all, again it depends on what you need . It is a very well maintained car. Fix the trans leak and check the brakes, give it a little TLC and you"ll have a sweet 64 Fairlane 500. is you have any questions, thank you.
