Vehicle description
This auction is for a matching numbers 1963 Porsche 356 B. The car was media blasted several years ago to begin, a later stalled, restoration process and has light surface rust due the light coat of primer wearing off. This car has never been in a serious accident as can be seen in the pictures. Very sound chassis and outer panels, good pedal area, roof, trunk floor, door pillars, door latch panels, headlight buckets.
Needs attention in the usual areas: floor, longitudinals (driver"s side inner longitudinal was repaired but advisable to go over again), door bottoms, rear seat bottoms, engine tray, battery area etc. However, most areas will do with just patching small sections to not alter original factory welds.
The engine is free and complete with original carbs and filter canisters. All four wheels move freely and have original drums and brakes in great shape.
Overall a great candidate for restoration and collecting!
I have set the reserve to a reasonable amount to leave "meat on the bone" for the restorer or collector. No bottom feeders please, we all know the value of these cars. Questions are welcomed.
Car is sold "as is" with a bill of sale. Deposit due at end of auction by winning bidder and car must be picked up within 7 days after end of auction. I will only accept a maximum of $500 by paypal, balance must be paid by Cashiers Check, wire transfer or cash. The car is also being offered locally and therefore reserve the right to end the auction early.
Thanks for your interest, happy bidding!
