Vehicle description
1963 Dodge 880 4 door sedan big block car. Runs good and transmission works, brakes do NOT work. It is 4 wheel drums. The 383 (2468130-7) purrs like a kitten. The push button 727 works good, but the neutral button is missing. If it sells I will buy a brand new battery that will go with the car. The interior is not bad, there are some tares in the seats and headliner is coming down. Door panels are ok but have speaker holes cut into them. There is rust in the pillars and cowl and and rockers and quarters. Way too much for a California car, I"m not use to it.
Overall it can be a good, cheap car to cruise around in with a little work, or a great parts car if you need any of these hard to find parts.
I originally picked this up as a parts car, but it is in pretty good shape and mostly complete. It would be a shame to part it out, but the new owner can do whatever they want. I considered fixing the brakes and rebuilding the front end, but then I"d have way more into the car than I"m asking for it. Also the new owner would probably put disc brakes on the front anyway and if I did the work I"d probably keep the car. I don"t really need more cars, I"m a bit of a hoarder.
It does have rust and I posted pictures, not trying to hide anything, I will send clear pictures of any part of the car. I want the buyer to know exactly what they are buying, no surprises. The front suspension needs to be rebuilt, its together just enough to load and unload the car, but it does come with most of the brand new parts that are needed. I would recommend replacing the driver side upper A arm. It needs 4 new tires, the ones on it are just rollers that hold air.
Due to no brakes, bad tires, and condition of the front suspension this car is NOT safe to drive, I will drive it onto a trailer for the buyer though
