Vehicle description
1963 Buick Riviera. West coast rust free vehicle. I have owned it since 06 and have. 401 Nailhead motor was rebuilt about 5000 miles ago. I had the shop add a more aggressive cam than stock. Custom exhaust with h-pipe and dual Flowmaster 50 series mufflers. Carter AVS Thunder Series 650 Carb. Tranny is SP (switch pitch ) 400 with Band M shift kit and Band M Megashifter. Motor runs strong, sounds excellent and produces a ton of torque. This Buick is very reliable and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere.
Interior was white originally and was redone in 2008 in a white faux leather tuck and roll material. Nice stereo system with Sony amp, 2 6x9s, 12 inch sub in box. New white headliner installed. Black faux snake skin lines the exterior of the center console. Original stainless/ tilt steering column is is excellent condition and has GT Grant wood grain steering wheel.
Slam Specialties air bags all the way around with 2 Viair 480 compressors, Accuair manifold system and a 5 gallon air tank. Car rides smooth with the newer tires on 20 inch wheels. Brakes are drum, stock and all work well.
Paint and body done back in 06". Still extremely shiny but does have some minor knicks and scratches. I had about $2k worth of re-chroming done in 07". This car turns a lot of heads and there are not of these rivieras left out there. It would be easy to swap stock coil springs back in it to get it back to stock ride height.
Car has a custom shaved firewall that is painted white to match top of car. No heater or AC- I was planning on Vintage Air but haven"t got to it yet.
Update- just added pertronix pointless ignition and pertronix flamethrower coil.
