Vehicle description
I have a complete 1962 Chrysler 300 that starts, runs and stops. Clear title in hand, currently registered in CA until next year. The doors need adjustment for fitting, but close and the truck lock is not in the mechanism. I am not sure of the actual mileage.
Some rust in floor board and trunk bottom, along the runner on the passenger side and on the left side of the trunk groove. Some floor board rust on the driver and passenger side and the flat battery holder platform.
Automatic push button transmission, I just put new plugs, wires, cap and rotor. The valve cover and exhaust manifold leaks and the muffler has some holes along the pipe. 2 Door, Luxury Sport Model with a 383 engine, not a Hemi.
The power seats don"t work and most of the electrical will need to be tested for the lights, ac, heater, etc. . I pulled the carpets to keep the floorboards from rusting. The headboard lining is torn, but I did not remove it. The back seats are the original, front seats and dash have been redone. All the windows are there. Runs, Registered and drives. Never needs smog. I have reprint of the service manual in two binders.
