Vehicle description
Stalled project looking for a new owner to finish and return to the streets. I Have owned the car for almost 16 years. I drove it for 2 years and then it sat on jack stands getting very little attention over the years until two weeks ago when the difficult decision was made to sell and find a new owner that can give this beautiful car the attention it deserves.
Previous owner claimed to have done a frame off 5 years prior to my purchase. Paint is a beautiful dark charcoal metallic. Has a great shine for an over 20 year old paint job but does have flaws that show this car was a driver and not a trailer queen. There are a couple bubbles under the paint in the bottom corners of the doors and rear fender wells. The dog house is just as nice as the rest of the car and has been sitting covered for 13 years. Custom interior was done by the previous owner in cloth and vinyl but still with a factory style and feel. Seats show a little fading from a lot of drive time with the top down. Trim is all there and in good condition. Bumpers appear to be original chrome and are in good condition. The convertible top is in great condition but the plastic back window is hazy and yellowed from years of dust and dirt. Other than the interior this car was purchased with the appearance of a stock and restored Impala. All custom changes done after I bought the car. I had big plans for the car but time, money, and other distractions stalled the project and finally led to the recent decision to sell the car. Here are the details.
The car is sold as is with no motor, transmission, drive shaft, or radiator. The perfect candidate for an LS swap.
Interior upgrades include a new polished Ididit steering column and Billet Specialties half wrap steering wheel still in the boxes.
Exterior upgrades are 20" x 8.5" Genuine Boyd Coddington wheels in the rear with Kumho 255/35 tires. 18"x8" Boyds with 225/40 up front.
Suspension/chassis upgrades include a new Moser 9" Ford rear end with 3:55 posi trac and 31 spline axles. Original RIDEPROe control system from Ridetech. Tubular upper and lower control arms with shock waves up front. Tubular trailing arms with adjustable pan hard bar out back. 4 way Big Red Max air valves with a single 400 Viair compressor and 5 gallon tank. Borgeson power steering conversion kit with Delphi 600 steering box, steering shaft, and universal joints. Ridetech front sway bar and polished tie rod adjusters. Moog inner and outer tie rod ends and idler arm. Brakes are Baer slotted and drilled rotors with polished calipers and Mcgauhy 2" drop spindles. Chrome booster and master cylinder with stainless lines are new in the box from The Right Stuff Detailing.
I"m up front and honest with everything I know about the car. I want to make sure the new owner is happy with their purchase. Text me with any questions or requests for more information or pictures at (502) 930-2143. You can also find me on Instagram @62bruggy.
