| “1962 Chevy C10. My father-in-law and husband rebuilt the straight 6 (261) engine last year. It starts up-and-coming runs. It has a 3 on the tree manual transmission which shifts as smooth as an old truck can shift. Prior owner did the paint and interior. There is some rust on the underside. The speedometer doesn't work but other gauges do work. New tires. My husband can show you the other quirks. 1962 Chevy C10. My father-in-law and husband rebuilt the straight 6 (261) engine 3 years ago. Single barrel carburetor with oil bath air filter. All parts of of the era. It starts and runs. It has a 3 on the tree manual transmission which shifts as smooth as an old truck can shift. Prior owner did the paint and interior. There is some rust on the underside. The speedometer doesn"t work but other gauges do work. We don"t actually know how many miles are on it because the odometer doesn"t work. Husband uses it as a daily driver in the summer. New tires. My husband can show you the other quirks. We"ve received a lot of compliments, but nobody has brought money to the table.
Reason for selling: truck doesn"t fit all of us and I can"t drive a manual transmission.
